Im usually making these as a way to work out ideas for paintings. I think of my beings as spirit guides and I believe that I connect in a way to these beings as I paint them. In this form, as opposed to my paintings, their elemental underworking is the strength of the work. It is practice for me to offer them for sale as an exercise in trusting they are enough as they are. They are some of my favorite work.
