Most impressively wonderful restored turn of the century couch. Robilee stripped the 1960's fabric off, restrung the springs on the back and seat, and rewebbed the back. The wood frame that had been painted during that 1960's reupholstering, got repainted with a deep anvil grey chalk paint. The color is super special, it reads as black, deep blue and also, grey, depending on the light. The fabric is dappled shades of grey linen with flowers in pinks and magenta, flourished with bursts of chartruse and mustard gold. New foam and down cushions make this sofa a fine place to nap, as well as bringing its esthetic into the modern.
This, as with all of Robilees furnitures, is a special one of a kind statement piece for a special ecclectic home.
